Executive Director’s Message: Year in Review

2013 has been a ground-breaking year for the new Performing Arts Centre – literally! This past July, we saw the arrival of the crane on site, preliminary excavation work and the start of construction on this major project for downtown St Catharines. Special thanks to Peter Partridge for kick-starting the PAC fundraising campaign, Marian Gordon and Edward Kendall, Algoma Central Corporation for the PAC’s first corporate donation, followed by Cogeco Cable Canada’s generous contribution and promotional support.

Over the last two years, I have enjoyed getting to know all of the talented people and organizations that make up Niagara’s arts and cultural scene. I look forward to seeing the PAC showcase local and national talent, and contribute to creative and economic growth. I am excited to begin another year, as we countdown towards the grand opening in the fall of 2015.

Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and […]
