Two fundraising announcements were made on October 21 during a special event at Jackson-Triggs Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The New Performing Arts Centre Campaign Cabinet Member John Muratori served as event Master of Ceremonies, announcing Cogeco Cable Canada’s exciting gift of approximately $410,000 (monetary donation and in-kind services), and Niagara Region couple Edward Kendall and Marian Gordon’s generous $75,000 gift.
Two spaces in the currently-under-construction Performing Arts Centre have been renamed in light of these recent gifts. The Cogeco Lobby and The Marian Gordon-Kendall Recital Hall Lobby are symbols of both donors’ generosity.
Canadian singer-songwriter superstar Gino Vannelli helped celebrate these wonderful campaign announcements with a surprise performance – making this special celebratory event even more memorable!
With a project as significant and multifaceted as The New Performing Arts Centre, it takes a well-rounded group of committed and passionate professionals to ensure deadlines are met, goals are reached and progress is smooth.
